Description

The Beatles - 'Yesterday And Today' 3rd State Butcher Cover MONO 1966 Capitol T2553. A pretty excellent peel job and no tears on the butcher slick. No reserve and a very low starting bid price.
LP: The LP has multiple sleeve marks and some scratches yet still plays quite well. Ticks and pops between tracks but during songs the glorious mono playback comes through surprisingly well. I grade it G to G+.
Labels: VG+ no writing or spindle marks. Includes golden rod color inner sleeve with center splits at bottom and one side.
Cover: As mentioned this is a really decent peel job of a Scranton, PA pressing as designated by the 3 next to the RIAA stamp. Some glue lines are visible as seen in the photographs but no rips or tears of the butcher slick. There is a beginning of a seam split at the center of the spine and some flaking but no seam splits top or bottom just shelf wear. There is a corner cut top right and a slight corner bend lower right. The back cover has yellowed and has some vertical impressions in the upper right quadrant but overall a solid copy. Cover rated G.
