1969 UK *FACTORY SAMPLE* LP
This EXCELLENT & early UK pressing from 1969 is on the dark green Apple Records label: PCS 7088
The side 1 label bears genuine EMI red & white 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker.
The 'Her Majesty' title is not listed on the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 2/GP & 1/GD
Vinyl weight: 145g
Housed in fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the Apple logo aligned beneath the track-listing on the rear panel.
Complete with its plain white 'Patent Nos 11255 55' inner-sleeve.

A rich & vibrant pair with little more than a small collection of dull spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both playing surfaces of this very well looked-after copy are extremely clean & retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines showing just a handful of harmless light surface marks in strong daylight, but nothing I would call a scratch. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a sparkling rainbow shine and a few barely visible wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines. Both sides of this fine copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This barely and carefully played copy sounds perfectly warm, clean & clear throughout. My careful play-check at volume found no groove/play wear on any track or indeed any background noise, clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction. It's a great sounding copy which will not disappoint.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A clean & firm example with little to fault except for minor storagewear. The front panel is clean & glossy with just a hint of storage rubbing, but no 'thumbnails' or any other significant creasing or wear. There is a bump to the upper left corner but no damage to any of the others. Both opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn and the rear panel is as glossy as the front but has two or three 'thumbnail' wrinkles. All seams are smooth and unstressed and the spine is fully laminated and unworn.

Clean, white and flat with little to fault anywhere.
