THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
This fine UK 1st pressing dates from initial September 1969 release and is on the dark green Apple Record label: PCS 7088
The side 2 label has been printed slightly out of register, resulting in an unusual looking green shadow.
E.M.I. quality control at this time was very strict and errors like this rarely escaped the factory.
The label also omits the 'Her Majesty' title.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper codes: 6/ODT & 10/ALR
Vinyl weight: 136g
Housed in a fully laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover, with the Apple logo misligned beneath the rear panel side 1 tracklist.
Complete with its original & correct plain white 'Patent No. 1,125,555' inner-sleeve.

This rare set are in superb condition with just a handful of light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Both sides of this little played disc are clean & glossy with the only noticeable blemish being a light/non-feelable 4cm hairline on side 2. Close inspection beneath halogen light add only some harmless wispy paper hairlines together with a sparkling rainbow shine.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
This nice sounding early copy has received minimal careful play on good equipment and the sound quality throughout is clean, warm & unworn. There are no clocks, pops, ticks or any other such distractions, just a touch of regular low-level vinyl background between tracks.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & strong example with light storagewear to its high-gloss laminate finish and a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle towards the edge of the front panel only.
There is light shelfwear to the corners but no heavy bumps and both opening edges are sharp and undamaged.
The rear panel, like the front, has a light disc impression from storage but is otherwise wear-free.
Both seams & the spine are fully intact and unworn.
