Description
The Beatles - A Hard Day's Night
Original 1st Press 1964 Stereo Nr Mint Vinyl - The Very First Stereo release of this classic.
Stereo records at the time were still twice as much in price as a Mono and not popular with the masses hence not many were pressed with the original very first Stereo label.
"The Parlophone Co.Ltd etc" around the rim of the labels denotes this to be a first press. These were quickly replaced with the new labels which had the words "The Gramophone Co.Ltd etc" instead.
As can be seen by the photo's, the vinyl is in EX / Nr Mint Condition with an occasional sleeve scuff if you hold to the direct sunlight.
The labels look like they have been pressed funny as there are marks etc on both sides that look like spindle marks but could just be the press.
Comes complete with the EMITEX inner sleeve in EX Condition.
Sleeve has been looked after through the years as is a lovely example,except for a few age spots to the back and a few laminate creases to the front. Overall 8.5 /10 but still pretty straight.
Plays through as new.
Beautiful Solid upgrade for the more conserting collector.
