All thirteen EP’s are near mint, and ten of them come with their own picture sleeves.  Reportedly, Lennon was the one who was consulted to arrange the track listings for these EP’s in 1970 and 1971.  He chose to group the songs according to lead singer.  Interestingly, it also reveals Lennon’s mental state toward the group.  For example, he went heavy on George and Ringo and so light on Paul that on one of Paul’s EP’s John threw in a George song.  From Lennon’s 1980 interview with David Scheff, he explains that he felt guilty that he and Paul had carved up the singles between them, leaving George and Ringo no chance at airplay or royalties from the singles market.  In fact, George didn’t get an A-side to a single until 1969.  This may explain the strangeness of these EP’s.

The wonderful thing about this set being in mono is that there are tracks from both “ Abbey Road” and “Let It Be” included.  Most die-hard Beatles collectors are aware that there were mono mixes prepared for both albums, and that they were issued in Argentina at least, with a nice “Monofonique” sticker.  We also know that there exists a mono acetate of “Abbey Road,” and several of us go crackers at a mere photo of it.  But how often do you get to hear the mono mixes?  This configuration released in Mexico is the most common way to do that.  They were even reissued in the early eighties on the cream-colored EMI label.  These are all on Apple.

Some have small playholes and they play at 33 1/3.  Others have large ones which play at 45 RPM.  All are beautiful near mint.  Here are the groupings of tracks per EP:
