Bach Cello Suites 4 & 4 Enrico Mainardi Archiv 14044 APM
Enrico Mainardi plays the Bach Cello Suites 3 and 4. A German mono pressing on the Archiv Label (14044 APM), the labels are silver and blue and this is a pancake pressing. The record is of worn appearance with some minor scuffs and greyish marking (rubbing?) It plays and sounds well (very good recording and magnificent performances) with occasional crackle and a few clicks and with consistent low-level surface noise. The gatefold cover has rubbed a little with sticker residue at the top left-hand corner and other minor wear.
