Description

This is a Brunswick Records #BL 54038 titled The Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly and the Crickets from 1957. This is the 1st pressing with the black label and the textured cover. Songs on the album are "Oh, Boy !", "Not Fade Away", "You've Got Love", "Maybe Baby", "It's Too Late", "Tell Me How", "That'll Be The Day", "I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love", "An Empty Cup (And A Broken Date)", "Send Me Some Lovin'", "Last Night" and "Rock Me My Baby". That is the good news, the bad news is the record has a lot of scuffs and Oh, Boy ! and Maybe Baby both skip. The cover has a 6" split on the top right and a 3" split on the bottom right. There is also stains from the remnants of tape on the four corners. If you just need the album to fill in your collection (cheap) until a better one comes along, this is it.
