First pressing of Bridget St John's LP from 1969 . Matrix 63750 A1 / 63750 B1
A beautiful original copy - 1-2 plays only . Pressed with the first issue RED labels . A very difficult album to find as a genuine first pressing. The disc is housed in the original un-laminated gatefold sleeve printed and made by the E.J Day Group Ltd. Comes with original plain white inner with UK patent number and 'Made in Great Britain' printed in grey.
CONDITION
The labels are clean and unmarked. There is not even the tiniest hint of a spindle mark on either side. This record has seen just one or two careful plays. Lovely rich coloured labels with no fading whatsoever. No sticker marks, writing, age spots or scuffs. You will not find a cleaner copy than this one.
The disc surfaces are near mint. I have looked closely and I can't see anything that is worth mentioning. Both sides are graded as visually near mint. The audio is also near mint. It plays beautifully with nothing to fault barring the very occasional ultra soft pop. A superb piece of angst ridden melancholy folk psych that will grow on you ! The disc is graded visually near mint and near mint for audio.
The EJ Day gatefold sleeve is in very good + condition. It's not quite on a par with the disc but still not bad at all. The front has a bit of browning / ring wear around the edges. The sleeve is one of those designed with the disc pocket opening inside the gatefold. The inside is in great condition, again a few age spots around the edges. The rear is pretty much as the front but there is a slightly wavy appearance to the card. The spine is solid and fully intact with all text legible. Not a perfect cover but the faults are fairly minor considerations in my opinion.
So a nice copy of an increasingly rare LP that should please the next owner. UK and Overseas postage is available by signed for delivery only. Proper box mailers are used to ensure that the item reaches you intact. Full refund in the event of buyer dissatisfaction.
