ANOTHER 'LOST' GEM OF THE EARLY 1970s UK PROG SCENE
Who were BRAM STOKER and the mysterious T. Bronsdon who composed all the tracks?
This enigmatic 1972 release was recorded for Woolworths generic Windmill label and that, along with the album title sounding like some easy listening compilation of the time (to be avoided) resulted in minimal sales.
Dominated by moody Hammond organ that owes much to Keith Emerson, and ELP in general. There are NICE overtones too with their own "Fingals Cave" whilst the sounds on "Poltergeist" comes straight from a gothic Hammer Horror.

LABELS: EXCELLENT+
Bright, clean and unmarked labels which show nothing but light spindle rash
VINYL Visual: EXCELLENT
Roughly pressed both surfaces display some 'in-vinyl' brush marks but these have little effect on the sound
VINYL Audio: EXCELLENT
There is some low-level surface present on the run-ins/outs and track divisions - due to the pressing - not use - nothing I found in the slightest intrusive - and the odd light tick was noted but again, nothing I found at all intrusive - a fine copy of this obscure prog gem
SLEEVE: EXCELLENT+
Apart from light marking to the untreated white back the cover is in great shape - no edge or spine wear to speak of and a deep glossy sheen to the front laminate
