This visually striking Bob Dylan LP is pressed on beautiful translucent lime-green vinyl and is housed in a wonderfully understated period-style sleeve bearing the title GWW “John Birch Society Blues”. The fluorescent pig sticker, minimalist numbered labels and hand-etched runout markings give the record the authentic, handmade character collectors value in early unofficial pressings.

The outer sleeve is marked GWW “John Birch Society Blues”, while the hand-etched vinyl matrices appear as BD 501 A and BD 501 B, with additional etched figures visible in the runout areas. Because vintage unofficial pressings were often issued, re-pressed or paired with different generic sleeves and labels, we are presenting the record exactly as found and making no unsupported claim that every component originated together.

Vinyl: EX — Excellent

The translucent green vinyl presents beautifully and remains clean, glossy and very close to new in appearance. There are no obvious scratches. Any signs of careful handling are extremely faint and generally noticeable only under strong direct light.

Playback is quiet and stable, with little to no distracting background noise. There are no skips, no distortion and no tracking problems. The sound remains clear, rich and detailed, with strong dynamics.

Sleeve: G+ — Good Plus

The original sleeve has lived a full vintage life and displays honest signs of age and storage. These include general rubbing, discolouration, spotting and visible age-related marks, particularly around the upper-right area.

The corners and edges show wear, with small areas of fraying or minor tearing possible. However, the sleeve remains complete and usable, with no large holes or critical structural damage. Its aged appearance adds genuine period character without affecting the enjoyment of the record.

The vinyl will be placed in a fresh protective inner sleeve, while the original cover will receive a new clear outer sleeve. All original pieces and identifying components shown in the photographs will remain together with the record.
