Description
Here is a very clean first pressing mono copy of Columbia CL-1986 released in 1963. This copy still has the original shrink wrap with the sticker for Blowin' In The Wind". I believe Peter, Paul and Mary made "Blowin' " a hit with a single before Dylan even released this LP. This is the first commercial release mono label. Copies to come after had "360 Sound" on them and MONO in big block letters. Here is a web address to a great page all about this LP http://www.searchingforagem.com/MonoLPs002.htm The cover is NM-, just a little age discoloration along the opening. The vinyl is also NM-, looks super clean and plays beautifully with just and odd tick here and there which would probably wipe out. These copies are rare and especially with the "Blowin' " sticker still attached. A past auction search at Popsike.com shows a previous copy at ebay bringing $272. Overseas bidders are welcome. Overseas airmail is $12 for an LP, no insurance offered at this rate. I do not ship overseas surface mail and I do not accept paypal. Overseas bidders must pay through Bidpay or with an international money order. I can no longer accept cash payments by mail. I have had several cash payments stolen in the postal system in the past few months. I will combine winnings to save on shipping. US bidders pay exact priority mail + insurance if requested. Between $3.95 and $5.75 depending on where you live in the US. If you are the winning bidder a contact email or invoice will be sent to you within 24 hours.
