Description

Here is probably the cleanest, best sounding 1st press (CL 1986)  Mono copy  of 'The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan'  you'll ever find.  I couldn't believe my ears when I played this. Stunning! It has all the 1st 1963 U.S. press indicators (not counting the impossibly rare recalled vers. with different songs) "Guaranteed High Fidelity" printed at the lower left side of front cover and on the labels. 2 "eye" Columbia labels. The word "NONBREAKABLE" printed on both labels. The number "1" printed on the back of the cover at lower right. Stereo and Mono designations printed on the back cover on the upper right corner. Stamped matrix numbers for Side 1 : XLP-58717-3A   Side 2: XLP-58718-2A

Condition of Album Jacket: Near Mint...hardly a blemish to be seen. Colors are still vivid, near perfect spine...amazing considering it's now 50 years old!

Condition of Record: Near Mint...Yes, it's that good. One song ONLY (Talking World War III Blues)  on Side 2, has 3 or 4 soft audible "ticks" that's it. Record has a clean surface with a couple of faint sleeve removal marks which don't sound at all. Superb, incredible Master Tape quality sound.
