From our private collection we are offering an original, limited edition pressing of this very rare Bob Dylan double album set entitled, "Blind Boy Grunt & The Hawks: The Basement Tapes Volume 1," released on the Surprise label (run-off groove matrix numbers read: BD 1967). For detailed information and tracklisting on this great 2-LP set, you can consult bobsboots.com, but suffice it to say that this (along with Vol. 2) is a treasure trove of Dylan's 1967 basement tape recordings with the Band, lovingly presented in a deluxe, stunning package -- for many years a Holy Grail for Dylan collectors. The full-color professional stock cover includes full tracklistings and extensive liner notes on the back and is in VG+/VG++ shape with only a faint crease in the upper right-hand corner of the front cover. No writing, marks, tears, seam splits or ringwear of any kind! Both the deluxe black-on-red printed labels and both LPs are in stunning VG++/NM condition, with no marks, scratches of any kind.
