Ultra-rare 1987 Mute Records, UK pressing of Rowland S Howard's These Immortal Souls' 1st LP. Incredible sound quality on the original UK vinyl (blows the any CD/mp3 versions out of the water!), super warm and dynamic. A greatly underestimated masterpiece of swampy drug-soaked angst.
PLEASE NOTE- this LP has the wrong cover for it, it has the cover for the 12" single record. The explanation is that I bought this many years ago at a record store, thinking I was getting the rare "Marry Me (Lie!Lie!)" 12" single, until I brought it home and realized it actually contained the whole "Get Lost (Don"t Lie!)" LP, and even the inner sleeve for that LP with lyrics and all. Not a bad deal, I was actually pretty thrilled. So its a bit of a mismatched cover + LP, but at least its the same band and the same time period of that band, the same record label, etc, and the band photos on the back cover are pretty darn cool.
Rarely ever played, vinyl in near mint condition, plays excellent, almost like new. The bright yellow cover is excellent as well, very little shelf wear, looks great. The printed inner sleeve with lyrics is in VG+ condition, it has a couple small splits that have been repaired with tape. The LP is stored in a nice thick poly-sleeve for extra protection.
