Up for your consideration is a PROMOTIONAL 12" single of BLUE OYSTER CULT's signature song "GODZILLA" in a LIVE version. This is the same live version which is on BLUE OYSTER CULT's 1978 live album Some Enchanted Evening; the B-side a live version of the song "Born to be Wild", a regular staple of BLUE OYSTER CULT's concerts, taken from their 1975 live album On Your Feet or On Your Knees.  The cover features a great, colorful graphic of Godzilla and the guitar-brandishing members of the band invading a city of skyscrapers: AWESOME! The cover alone would be a great item for display by Monster Movie fans and Metal-enthusiasts alike!
This record has been in my personal collection since the early 1980s. The vinyl record has not been played more than once: referring to the Goldmine Grading system, I would rate the condition of the vinyl very conservatively at VG+ (many would rate this as EX or NM). There are no apparent surface scratches, no fingerprints, and a very few faint scuffs visible on the vinyl surface. 
I would rate the jacket to be in VG+ condition (some might rate this at EX) with some corner wear (all corners are crimped, and the lower-right corner is actually bent, and this is visible in the photo of the back of the jacket as the lower-left corner) and some very minor rubs to the graphic (showing as faint rubs at the top center of the front and back of the jacket); however, the surface shows very little wear and the graphics are strong and clean. This record is over 30 years old, and I consider the condition to be very good given its age.
Given the undeniable reputation of the continuing influence of BLUE OYSTER CULT on everything from metal to post-punk to indie-rock coupled with this record's scarcity and the great, colorful jacket graphics, this item would be an honored addition of weighty importance to any collection of metal or hard rock artifacts (not to mention collections of Japanese Monster Cinema memorabilia!).
The record will be packed securely with the jacket removed and protected to prevent corner damage during shipping.
