** SUPER-RARE, SUPERB CONDITION, ORIGINAL 1967 1st PRESSING UK STEREO PHILIPS VINYL LP. **

This debut album from San Francisco heavy metal psych / biker band BLUE CHEER introduced the world to their massive wall of Marshall amplification, and hugely loud versions of songs such as "Summertime Blues". This LP sold very poorly in the UK upon original release in 1967, and so genuine original UK copies are VERY hard to find - especially in this excellent condition.

** It would be extremely difficult to find a better condition copy than this (see photos). **

An Excellent condition disc. No surface marks. A few spindle marks. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, writing on labels, scuffs or scratches to vinyl. Excellent sound quality. Very little surface noise. All the noise you will hear on this pressing is that of the BLUE CHEER'S huge wall of overdriven Marshall amplifiers! Tested on a Thorens turntable.

Sleeve in excellent condition. Front laminated. No seam splits anywhere. Very little wear or damage to spine. Plain inner sleeve.

** I have personally owned this record for over 30 years, and can guarantee that it is an original copy, and not a re-issue or re-release of any kind **

GRADING:

All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:

MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
