** SORRY THE LABEL IS MORE  OF A PURPLE - COLOR CORRECT TURNED IT TO  DEEP RED.

ONLY A HANDFUL EXIST AND ALL SEEMINGLY WITHOUT COVERS MEANT PROBABLY FOR DEMO PURPOSE OR MAYBE A TRULY DISCARDED PROJECT MEANT FOR THE DUST BINS.

2ND COPY I HAVE FOUND IN TEN YEARS AND IT APPEARS AT LEAST 1 OTHER HAS BEEN UNEARTHED BY CANADIAN COLLECTOR IN SAME AMOUNT OF YEARS AS WELL. 

ABSOLUTELY RARE AND AMAZING EAST COAST CANADA ALBUM OF VARIOUS COVERS DONE WITH GOOD HEAVY FUNK AND SOUL.

 PSYCHEDELIC WHA MELT VERSION OF 'SEASON OF THE WITCH'

AND ULTRA FUNKY "KING SIZE" made FAMOUS BY JAYSON HOOVER (1966 new syndrome)  JAM PACKED WITH A STELLAR GROUP (who I still do not know

plays behind Davey - WHO ARE the Four Winds??)

ASIDE FROM SPOT ON TRIBUTES TO OTIS REDDING, THEY SPICE UP

SOME PRETTY PEDESTRIAN RADIO HITS WITH SOUL GROOVE

AND THEN DIVE HEAD FIRST INTO A JAMES BROWN MEDLEY

HORNS,  ELASTIC BASSLINES, AND POLYRHYTHMIC DRUMS.

..these guys can

hold down a HEAVY groove for days (the letter, which they coveris the greatest cover of the song I have heard..echo laden acoustic guitar opens the track and they slow it down to molasses and just space your head out..if you can imagine that with "the letter"! a feat they pull off) 

WAS RELEASED LATER WITH DIFFERENT CUTS AND TAKES AND NOT

ALL SONGS  ON THIS LP - ON THE ALBUM 'DAVE WELLS AND THE FOUR WINDS" ON PARAGON RECORDS .

SOME OTHER DEALERS HYPE THAT THIS HAS 'ORIGINAL' SONGS AS WELL

BUT THEY ALL APPEAR TO BE COVERS - BUT I ADD, DONE IN AN ORIGINAL FLAVOR…  ;)

PARAGON ALBUM. BUT UNLIKE OTHER AUCTION CLAIMS

THEIR IS NO 'ORIGINAL' MATERIAL, THEY ARE ALL COVERS.

ABSOLUTELY RARE AND AMAZING EAST COAST CANADA ALBUM OF VARIOUS COVERS DONE WITH GOOD HEAVY FUNK AND SOUL. A VERY PSYCHEDELIC AND DUBBY VERSION OF 'SEASON OF THE WITCH'AND ULTRA FUNKY "KING SIZE" made FAMOUS BY JAYSON HOOVER.

OUR VINYL RECORD GRADING SCALE : SS = still sealed NM or EX+ = possibly never played or seldom -excellent like new EX or VG++ = visibly clean - minimal scuffs -signs lightly played not perfect an acceptable collector copy VG+ = obviously used - mostly distortion free - some scuffing lite marks
non intrusive scratches - nice play copy - random clicks or pops no skips VG- = play copy - used - minimal distortion, pops, clicks (but are a factor)
no skipping, no sticking, no jumping - (*mild warp not dramatic is acceptable in this grade) G = rare records in playable but rough shape overall - lines, marks
