BLOSSOM TOES - IF ONLY FOR A MOMENT
A truly excellent plus condition copy of this 1969 UK 1st press psych gem on the highly collectable Marmalade label with little played, gleaming vinyl & stunning audio quality throughout.
Record Label : 1969 UK MarmaladeLabel number : 608010
Matrix numbers : 608010 A//3 / 608010 B//2 (all stamped)
Stamper codes : 1 1 2 / 1 1 1 (earliest stampers)
The flat and gleaming vinyl is in superb near mint condition having retained it's original gorgeous jet black sheen. In normal daylight both sides of the vinyl come across as perfect, and even with close scrutiny under a bright light the condition of the vinyl remains hard to fault. Clearly this record has been played very sparingly, probably only a few times. Stunning! Pristine labels - completely unmarked apart from just a couple of small and extremely light (so faint you will have to strain your eyes to identify them) spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. The laminated (both sides) outer sleeve remains eminently presentable and is in excellent condition with firm, unscuffed edges, near perfect right angled corners devoid of any rubbing at all, no cardboard creasing and no opening edge fraying or feathering, and the art work/colours/text all remain beautifully intact, The only blemishes are x3 3cm light laminate crease arcs towards the front opening edge, x5 1cm very light horizontal laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine on the front side and x6 on the reverse side, a couple of tiny light "nicks" on the reverse side opening edge, a light 4mm diameter mark towards the bottom left corner on the reverse side, a thin vertical strip of mild laminate lift adjacent to the spine on the front side, and just the merest hint of some very faint age discolouration next to the reverse side top edge...each blemish is minor but they combine to make the sleeve condition not perfect but still a solid excellent nonetheless. Stunning STEREO audio quality which cannot be faulted in any way : no skips, jumps, repeats, clicks or background interference/crackle - tremendous tone and clarity throughout, even at higher volume and frequencies. Comes with original and excellent condition poly-lined "PLASTIC BAGS CAN BE DANGEROUS" inner sleeve with no splits, tears, or edge fraying - there is some creasing but still remaining fully functional.
A rare (especially in condition as truly impressive as this) and sought after 1969 UK 1st press psych gem...timeless and an absolute "must" for any serious vinyl rock collection.
POSTAGE COSTS :
For the UK £8 using Royal Mail special delivery ;
for continental Europe £15 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for,
and for the rest of the world £21 using Royal Mail 1st class tracked and signed for.
Note that for Italy I now use a courier (either Parcelforce, UPS or DPD) for shipping purposes, for a flat fee of £18 (that includes full tracking)
I do provide posting and packaging discounts for multiple purchases. I make no profit from postage.
Note that I always insert the vinyl(s) into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the sleeve itself to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting UK vinyl for over 52 years from a variety of sources : my own collection, friends and family, car boot and garage sales, door-to-door leaflets, and even through placing an advert in my wife's shop window! My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I will sort out the problem. I offer a "no questions asked" refund policy. If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige. There is NO RESERVE on this item. Richard
Descriptions of any records I sell comply with the Rare Record Price Guide grading guidelines :
Mint The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
Fair The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing
Bad The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
