Description
Here we have a decent copy of the classic 1970 debut album from Black Sabbath. This version is the very first UK press on the Vertigo 'Swirl' label. It has the earliest matrix, 'A Philips Record Product' on the label and 'Copyright subsists in all Stereo recordings…' on the sleeve.
The vinyl has some age related marks. Most of which do not affect play, other than the usual crackle in the quieter moments (of which there are few). The only issue is a brief skip on track 2. The rest plays at least VG and, for the most part, more like VG+. The sleeve has some wear, most notably on the spine. No original swirl inner bag.
Overall, a solid copy of this holiest of holy grail.
This record has been play tested from start to finish and has been honestly described and carefully graded.
