Description

This is an Original Pressing of Pavement's third 7 inch, Summer Babe. Originally released 1990, though not actually distributed until 1991, the original pressing is inscribed with 'Why Penetration?' on side A and 'Why Not Envelopment?' on side b. (see photos The B side contains "Mercy Snack" and "Baptiss Blacktick". It is also autographed by Stephen Malkmus, though it is an uncertified signature. It was given to me by Malkmus at a christmas party in 1995, so I can verify that it is in fact real, but the starting price I have set reflects the rarity of the pressing, without regard for the signature. I am a collector, not a dealer. Perfect for any Pavement fans collection. The record itself is near mint, while the jacket is excellent, and it contains the original inserts.
