BLACK SABBATH UK VERTIGO SPIRAL VO 6 (847 907 VTY) 1970 LP 1st PRESSING.
MATRICES: VO6 1Y 420 1 1 & 2Y 420 1 2 2
Vertigo full spiral label and small spiral above VERTIGO on side 2. Labels are stunningly clean, spindle marks are only very light. First pressings identified on inner gatefold at foot of inverted cross state "WARNING- Copyright subsists in all Vertigo recordings".
LP played with audio-technica 100-E cartridge tracking at 1.5 grams. The vinyl is EX+ it plays without any crackling. The sleeve is EX with a little creasing from age which is minor, the spine is unmarked.
GRADINGS When grading records I follow the standard UK grading system as defined by Record Collector Magazine. This is the most widely used guide and respected by Collectors Worldwide.
MINT (M) – Record is in brand new condition. The cover and all extra items are present and in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX) – The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG) – The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items (without any major defects) is acceptable. I always grade honestly and accurately and unless a record is extremely rare I never sell anything with a grading below VG-
