Description
Early (2nd) UK press of the classic Black Sabbath album “Paranoid” on Vertigo Swirl labels.
Matte gatefold sleeve. No “Jim Big Bear” credits
Matrix numbers:
Side 1: 6360011 1Y//1 v 420 12 4
Side 2: 6360011 2Y//1 v 420 11 61
Vinyl has lots and lots of fine scuffs and scratches. Non feelable but looks rough under bright light. Visually grades as G+ but actually plays really well with some light background crackle heard in the quieter sections and spaces between tracks but doesn’t overpower the music at all and is still a really enjoyable listen. Play grade is actually VG grade and much better than it looks. Not a bad playing copy at all. VG- overall grade. No skips, sticks, jumps, pops or clicks.
The sleeve is VG- too. With edge wear and obvious rubbing to the matte finish sleeve. Small sticker removal mark inside. No writing, rips or tears though.
Original swirl inner is discoloured but intact. VG
Not the best looking copy but plays alright
