BLACK SABBATH- ORIGINAL LP 1st PRESSING, UK, VERTIGO, 1970, VO-6 + SWIRL PATTERN INNER SLEEVE --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ** so we decided to start the auction at a really low price, cos we are not greedy, we love to help passionate record collectors find cool stuff for their collection. This is my personal copy, purchased in London in 1970. Yes, it's been played & enjoyed many times, including with some ex-girlfriends (will spare you the gory details of those "listening" sessions, lol) The cover is really nice and will be a great match for someone who needs a really clean original UK cover to match to a really clean vinyl disc? The original swirl inner bag is in perfect condition. We know could start the auction price much higher, but let's all have fun with this and may the best man win, as the saying goes GOOD LUCK !! This collection was owned by someone who had worked in the music industry for 40+ years. Unfortunately, after his passing, the few thousand records, had been originally packed by a moving company and then, over the years, had a couple times been moved to various storage units by the family. This caused a chaotic jumble of the Lp's & 45's regarding them having been originally categorized alphabetically, by genre, by year of issue etc. Hence our listings may reflect the same lack of order. Grading Scale
Sealed Jacket sealed in shrink wrap; disc sold ungraded or "as is". Notes will be made if wrap is partially torn, but record will still not be removable from sleeve or jacket. NM or M Appears unplayed and will bear no marks, sleeve scuffs, or scratches. EX used if vinyl is between NM and VG++VG++ May have one or two visible imperfections (i.e. sleeve scuffs, faint scratches, or other superficial marks) that will not affect play. VG+ A few visible imperfections. These may include sleeve scuffs, light scratches, or other superficial marks. VG Same imperfections found on VG+ records but in greater numbers. Records graded VG and above will typically not have any scratches that are deep enough to be felt with a fingertip touch. VG- A number of visible imperfections; the presence of a considerable number of light scratches will force a VG- grade, as will the presence of significant isolated defects such as scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingertip touch. G Pervasive imperfections of varying degrees including both light scratches and scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingertip touch. G+ and G- are used to indicate stronger and weaker copies within this range.
All records are visually graded using a bright lamp but we will play-grade for you upon request. Sometimes a scratch or scuff may look bad but especially on older thicker vinyl, it doesn't sound as bad as it looks, so those situations will be tested on the turntable and play-graded.

PLEASE NOTE !! We had a few questions....here is the answer.....there are NO feelable scratches on either side 1 or side 2 of the vinyl ...it played very very nicely, so please bid with confidence....good luck with your bid and thanks for checking our auction :))
