Another from my personal collection. An absolutely stunning sounding original Vertigo copy! This would be the earliest possible 2nd issue pressing, earliest #1 #1 matrix endings. The vinyl looks and plays like it has barely been played at all in my opinion,certainly just minimal play only! Cristal clear and vibrant audio throughout without any distortion (NO) Clicks or pops,absolutely stunning audio seperation, almost as good as it gets !,,Audio graded as at least excellent plus to very near mint both sides in my opinion!! (very rare and scarce to find like this indeed!! This is complete with the original Vertigo record sleeve and early issue original Vertigo gatefold which is strong and very straight without any major creases to talk about !

Black inside gatefold with lyrics in the cross 'Ossie Osbourne' misspelt Ossie Osborne' 1st press 2nd issue with 'Warning credits mentioning 'stereo recordings' instead of 'Vertigo recordings'

The debut album BLACK SABBATH, which was recorded in two days in the studio (probably 11-12 November 1969 with. And, seixena cost 600 pounds), and then issued on February 13, 1970, on Friday (!) , after which it took up in the British charts 8th place!!!!!!

Both labels are free of any nasty names or marks!

The original labels are awesome condition features the (large )swirl on side a. (only earliest press) and the swirl logo and track listings on side b.(only early press)!!!!! All rights.... are featured around the label rim(only early press)!!!!!!! very minimal amount of spidering can be seen in strong light and hardly any spindle ware  which indicates that this has not been overplayed very (very) rare for an album that is 38 years old!!!!!

The vinyl.

The vinyl is absolutely superbe on initial visual inspection this looks absolutely awesome! and still retains its sheen from new!!!!!! (please note this vinyl has (not) been over played at all !!!! nor are there any signs of grooveware or distortion!!!! I have played this through track for track at very loud volume on a top system!, and the audio quality is superbe cristal clear and extreemely vibrant!!THIS WILL BE HARD TO FIND BETTER!! Visually there are very (very) few surface marks at all infact i can barely see two or three very minor sleeve  removal  type scuffs (no) deep audio sounding scratches at all!!  at least i couldn't see any even in extreeme light, at least (none) that effect the audio that would cause any loud clicks,

The Audio Quality

I have played this track through a couple of times, at very loud volume on a top system! The audio on this pressing is stunning throughout, in my opinion is almost as good as it gets for a very very early  pressing. Importantly I heard (no) loud clicks or pops  (no) distortion (no) grooveware and certainly no skips or jumps!,,Even in between tracks there is extreemely minimal noise!!!Any minor static\crackle or ticks can only really be noticable at very loud volume and in only very quiet isolated places only. This almost plays as new!!!   I CAN HONESTLY SAY THAT THERE WAS NO MAJOR PROBLEMS THAT I HEARD WHAT SO EVER ABSOLUTELY STUNNING SEPERATION TOP TOP VERY NEAR MINT AUDIO THROUGH OUT!  I would class myself as highly critical and this is a truly exceptional sounding vinyl and the 1st by this awesome band ''black sabbath''!!!!!!!! Please check my completed listings of records that i have sold of this calaber and you will see that i normally get it right!!Audio graded as excellent plus to very near perfect!

This is the original gatefold (non) laminated cover with black on the inside opening (only early 1st press later were white) which also has the lyric and track contents in the cross!!!! Please note!! the misspelling of ''Ossie Osbourne''!!! ''Osborne'' very rare (only early press) This is strong and straight, (no) splits or tares and no nasty names written!, with just minor and very  light rubbing at the edges  only and minor superficial bumping ware to the corners with age and spine and minor creasings barely noticable  (Only really noticable if looked for in my opinion) This must grade at least excellent  in my opinion!!!

This is the original swirl polythene lined record sleeve patented and made in england. (please note this is stored seperately from the vinyl!!!!!!(please look at the photos) There is no splits or tares but becoming fragile with age with light general staining\fading\creasing. This is the original!
