Condition - PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY
First of all, let me state that I purchase (and sell) LPs on EBAY all the time. Nothing pains me more than to receive an LP that has been misdescribed. If you feel I have misdescribed the LP, I WILL ISSUE A REFUND however you will be responsible for paying return shipping. As such, I do a visual grade under a strong lamp. I play grade on a REGA PS3-24 turntable with an EXACT cartridge, played through a MUSICAL FIDELITY A3.2 DUAL MONO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER, and DYANUDIO EXCITE 12 SPEAKERS. This system picks up ANY NOISE. The Exact Cartridge does exactly what the name suggests, plays exactly what is on the vinyl, it is extremely demanding. Please read my feedback. AND DO NOT BID UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE DETAILS BELOW CLOSELY. I want you to know what you are buying. THANKS.
VINYL GRADE: Visual Grade - VG+ - Hairlines and a couple pressing defect marks that are audible. Play Grade - VG+ because of pressing defects but mostly plays NM - There are a couple pressing defects which result in a couple of pops on the first track and a couple of pops on some of the other tracks on the record. Other than that it plays mostly silent - indeed it looks unplayed. It would be a NM grade if not for the pressing defects.
If you have never heard this particular iteration of this LP, you will be in for a MAJOR TREAT. This is by far the only way to hear Bert's self-titled debut. This is analogue so the sound warm and full - no tinny digital here. It sounds like Bert is in the room with you. Essentially, this record was made to be heard in its analogue glory. Listening to this will take you back to the studio where it was recorded. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAR THIS UK CLASSIC!!!
