Description
Up for auction is a copy of Yesterday And Today by The Beatles, released in 1966 on Capitol, cat no T 2553, a mono pressing. This is a 2nd state unpeeled copy of the butcher cover. The “V” in Ringo’s turtle neck can clearly be seen under the trunk image (see close-up image)
Condition: some wear to front & rear cover, but nothing too serious. There are a couple of spots of staining in top right & bottom left, a dent or two bottom right, and a couple of bubbles in the paste-over. Some wear to the spine, but no seam splitting that I can detect. No writing either. Not the greatest copy, but there are certainly many others around in worse condition. VG, I think. No vinyl with this copy, but that’s an easy find.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
