Description
Up for auction is an original vintage 1966 The BEATLES "Yesterday and Today" Butcher Cover, 2nd State Trunk Pasteover, U.S. mono release Capitol T-2553 33-1/3 RPM LP album, paste over trunk cover is fully intact, no pieces removed. The cover is in very good condition with the corners showing wear, there are approximately 1/2" splits at both corner openings, record ring shows on back of cover. This is the genuine article, Ringo's V-neck shirt shadow can be seen under the pasted over cover just to the right of the top of the steamer trunk and Ringo’s elbow, there is a number "6" on bottom right back corner, pasteover trunk picture covers LP number and part of the black circle at upper right front corner, left to right dimension of cover is approximately 12-1/4"(approximately 1/8" less than standard U.S. album). The vinyl is in good condition, shows some lite surface marks and scratches, no skips or repeats, plays very well and comes to the auction winner as shown in original sleeve, see all pictures. The vinyl will ship on the outside of the cover.
