Description
BEATLES UK – ‘Help’ LP, rare small, black Stereo logo sleeve and NO ‘Sold in UK’ etc text labels.
PCS 3071 – circa 1969, black and yellow Parlophone labels, without the ‘Sold in UK’ etc text labels.
A UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:
1. for a very short time, circa mid 1969, EMI in the UK seem to be ‘experimenting !’ with these now very hard to find, small, solid black Stereo logo sleeves. Whether EMI thought them to be unsuccessful !, they were only around for a very short time,
2. during mid 1969 the text ‘Sold in UK’ etc was removed from the black and yellow record labels, just before the new ‘one box’ black and silver labels were to appear.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in near excellent condition, the front is laminated. As mentioned the sleeve has a rare small black Stereo logo, most of these Stereo sleeves at the time had a medium size ‘outlined’ Stereo logo on the sleeve. The spine is in excellent condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve has the period ‘tri flipback’ design. There are NO splits, tears, stickers or sticker residue. To the front of the sleeve, see photo there is an original price sticker, 37/6. Next to some of the songs listed on the rear of the sleeve there are some discrete ‘crosses’ written in black pen.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good+ condition and is the original EMI red and white advertising sleeve. There are NO tears, stickers or sticker residue. To one side on the top right corner there is a small discrete name written in black pen. There is some splitting to the two side edges.
THE VINYL: side one is in near MINT condition, side two is in excellent+ condition. It has remained very dark and glossy. The vinyl is made from thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix nos. are: YEX 168 – 1 and YEX 169 – 1,
The Mother/Stampers are: ‘3 O T’ and ‘3 P L’.
THE AUDIO: is excellent, with little to spoil the listening pleasure. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: side one is in very good+ condition, side two is in very good++ condition. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers and sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION.BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
