Here's the COMPLETE, Original 1st Pressing UK Parlophone 1967 MONO LP with the Rare WIDE SPINE, printing errors, and including The Fool Inner Sleeve and Unused Cut-out Sheet!
I have collected Beatles records and memorabilia for 55 years, and have sold on Ebay for over 10 years (100% rating).
From my personal collection, this is the original FIRST PRESS of the UK Parlophone MONO June 1, 1967 issue of SGT PEPPER's LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND! This version comes with the very rare W I D E spine (most issues have the more conventional narrow spine). This comes complete with the correct , early1967 mono gatefold sleeve, unused cut out insert sheet and psychedelic red and white inner sleeve created by The Fool. A hard to find FULLY COMPLETE 1967 original UK pressing!
COVER: VG+ - Great condition for its age. Strong, fully intact. Early Garrott and Lofthouse sleeve. No seam splits. Some corner wear. A few age spots and small folds. Inner gatefold flaps are fully secure. TWO PRINTING ERRORS: "A Little Help From My Friends" is mistitled on back. Song does not begin with "A Little help from my friends", as printed in the lyrics on the back.
INNER SLEEVE: VG+ - Some age spots. Small "436"printed on one upper corner. 3/4" split at bottom seam. Early "Patents Applied For" print.
CUT OUT SHEET: EX - A little fading to description text. Unused.
VINYL: VG+ Yellow and black Parlophone label in sought-after MONO. Both vinyl labels have the 'Sold in the UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd....' rim print. The 'KT' tax code is embossed on the side two label. Both side have the very earliest matrix number for this release - XEX 637-1 and XEX 638-1. Vinyl displays deep gloss. Some unfeelable marks. Some spindle wear seen under strong light. "A Day In The Life" is printed on Side Two label. It was omitted on the next label version.
