PCS 3075 - original 1965 Stereo Yellow & Black Parlophone Labels.

An original UK album in 100% original condition, featuring:

1. Side two of the record / label has a very unusual ‘ridge’ around the spindle hole !,  this is the only copy I have ever seen with this ridge !.  Side one of the record / label is normal, with no ridge. This ridge is part of the vinyl  and is not just a ridge or scoring on the labels surface. The matrix numbers and the mother / stampers  all suggest the record is an EMI pressing, but the ridge is a mystery !. This pressing could have been produced from a ‘rogue’ pressing machine at EMI !.

2. the outer edge of the record has an unusual  sharp edge to it.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated.  The spine is in very good condition and all the text is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the tri flipback design. The rear of the sleeve has remained an excellent fresh white in colour.  Theres NO tears, stains, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue. There is a little corner creasing to the front bottom right corner.    

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘Use Emitex’ sleeve. Theres NO pen writing, stains, splits, stickers or sticker residue. There is a small tear, 10mm around one side of the ‘Die cut hole’.

THE VINYL:  is in excellent condition, it is made from the period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl.  It has remained very dark and very glossy in appearance.

The matrix are :     YEX 178 - 3    and    YEX 179 – 3,

The Mother / Stampers are:    ‘ 2 GR   ’   and    ‘ 2 M ’.

THE AUDIO: is excellent, there is little to spoil the listening pleasure. The vinyl lays flat on the turntable and plays excellent with NO jumps or sticking from the needle. 

THE LABELS: are in excellent condition, as mentioned above there is a curious ‘ridge’ on side two that appears just around the spindle hole. There are the letters ‘K T’ embossed around the spindle hole on side one. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
