BEATLES UK, Rubber Soul, 1960s issue stereo UK LP.

PCS 3075, original UK 1965 stereo black and yellow Parlophone record labels.

A UK hard to find early stereo LP in original condition, featuring:

1. a hard to find early ‘stereo’ copy, as most copies of this LP in 1965 would have been issued in mono,

2. original ‘stereo’, ‘deep groove’ record, this is quite noticeable when the record / playing surfaces are tilted to the light,

3. the record features an unusual ‘sharp’ outer edge,

4. comes with its original slightly later red and white period EMI advertising inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition. The front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in excellent++ condition and has remained clean white and straight and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original 1965 period, tri, ‘flip back’, ie ‘fold over’ edge design. The unlaminated rear of the sleeve has remained very clean and white. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition and is the original period red and white EMI advertising inner sleeve. The two opening edges are in excellent++ condition and have remained clean and unworn, an excellent well preserved uncreased inner sleeve. There are NO splits, tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in excellent++ condition, side two is in excellent condition. The record is made from the original 1960s period, thick, heavy vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The record engraved ‘matrix’ is : YEX 178 - 3 and YEX 179 – 3,

The record engraved ‘mother / stampers’ are: ‘2 GP’ and ‘2 GA’.

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent+, each side plays with some light ‘crackle’ heard here and there, but overall an excellent playing copy. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. The letters ‘KT’ are embossed around the spindle hole on side one. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
