BEATLES Top of the Pops "Capitol" Promo EP Alternate BUTCHER COVER EX RARE

Capitol Records catalog number P9431, the three-track "promotional" EP called Top of the Pop's (sic). Tracks: "Long Tall Sally," "Hard Day's Night" (with interview) and "Things We Said Today." In a very nice stiff cardboard cover with alternate "butcher" photo on the front, Yesterday & Today photo with background on the back. Yellow label with printed with Capitol logo and "Promotion Record/Not For Sale." Smart money has this as being released in the late '70s and I'd also suggest it wasn't by the Capitol Records we all know and love but it is a fairly coveted Beatles rarity for sure. Cover is EX, close to NM with good color, no ringwear, no splits or creases, fantastic. Vinyl is EX and also could be called NM, straight, glossy, no surface noise. Cleaned on the VPI machine.
