BEATLES: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band, UK MONO Parlophone PMC 7027, 1967 1st pressing MONO LP. Stunning copy here & a 1st press with KT tax-code, insert & atypical white paper inner with 'Patents Applied for' print. -1, -1 matrixes. 2 APH, (0?) AGH stampers. The '0' code is inexplicable, and is most likely a mistake. VINYL is visually stunning MINT-, barely played this is, maybe 2-3 times in total. Surfaces are positively gleaming, and sound quality is near perfect. One of the the cleanest sounding & looking MONO 1st press I have had. Does have a few odd light tics in the outro of A Day In A Life, when the music fades. I cannot see any mark, even under bright light, that accounts for this. Overall sound is EXCELLENT++ to MINT-, very close to perfect. Does have a few odd low key tics here and there, probably just from a bit of dust in the original paper inner. COVER is EXCELLENT, has a few light creases, light bump in upper right corner, slight bend of upper left corner, all very minor. See pics. Paper inner is EX to MINT-, strongly indicating how little this was played. *** PLEASE NOTE that this white paper inner is authentic & original to this LP - most copies came with the 'flames' inner, but some came in plain white paper inners, as often used by Parlophone in 1966 & 1967, when the EMITEX polyinners were abandoned. INSERT is MINT-.
