On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band' and is a MONO UK 1st pressing!!!! This is the ORIGINAL MONO UK 1st pressing from 1967 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! THIS IS THE MONO 1ST PRESSING AND IS TOTALLY COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'CUT-OUT' INSERT, GATEFOLD COVER, AND 'PSYCH' INNER!!!! IT ALSO HAS ONE OF THE EARLIEST 'CUT-OUT' INSERTS!!!! THE BACKGROUND ON THE INSERT IS 'DARK GREEN' IN COLOUR - SOMETHING WHICH ONLY THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING INSERTS HAD!!!! THE INSERT, INNER, AND COVER ARE ALL IN FANTASTIC CONDITION!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL MONO 1st Pressing with a Yellow & Black Label, 'Sold in the UK' text, a KT tax code and the 'Gramophone Company' edge text. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The matrix numbers are XEX 637-1 & XEX 638-1. The stamper codes are 3(with a 7 below it)/MGO & 8/AHP. The Cat. No is PMC 7027 on the ORIGINAL Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is not and is in AWESOME condition!!!! It has to be one of the BEST EVER playing copies of this LP I have ever had!!!! Not only that but the record retains EVERY BIT of its RECORD SHOP gloss and shine!!!! The visuals of the record are VERY impressive with NO scratches, and only a very VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under the brightest of light!!!! The only visual problem to note is one long MEGA light NON SOUNDING hairline (visible under light) which DOES NOT SOUND in any respect!!!! DONT be put off by this!!!! The hairline is light and NON sounding - and the record is INCREDIBLY glossy and apart from this 1 hairline would EASILY be Near MINT!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! IT PLAYS STUNNINGLY with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade (VERY strictly) visually Very Good++++ if not better (please read above) - and the playing grade is FULL Excellent if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 'Psych' inner - WHICH IS IN PERFECT CONDITION!!!! The inner is often the weakest link in this LP - but this inner has NO Creases, NO splits, NO edge wear, NO staining and NO rips - it is as close to RECORD SHOP condition as you will EVER find!!!! AWESOME!!!! The 'cut-out' insert is also in PERFECT uncreased condition - and I doubt if it has EVER been out of the cover!!!! The Gatefold FLIPBACK Cover is in STUNNING condition - and I can confidently say that this has to be one of the best conditioned covers of this LP I have EVER found!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES - can you get much better???? It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear, only a very VERY few of the lightest edge creases (barely ANY AT ALL - and the cover retains ALL its original flatness), and NO writing!!!! What is truly amazing to me is that this cover has absolutely NO laminate shrinkage in ANY respect, and has to have the most PERFECT inside spine I have EVER seen!!!! The opening edges are RAZOR straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The inside spine is also PERFECT with NO laminate splitting, and NO lifting!!!! There is also NO splits, NO rips, and NO tears!!!! The cover must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!!
