On offer here is a MEGA-RARE UK original 1969 Mono Silver & Black PARLOPHONE 1 EMI box pressing of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band by THE BEATLES!!!! The catalogue number is PMC 7027 and the matrix numbers are Side 1 – XEX 637-1 & Side 2 – XEX 638-1. Mothers & stampers are: Side 1 – MOG 2 & Side 2 – MOM 7. These very RARE and sought after 1 EMI box mono pressings were the final Parlophone mono 1960s pressings and were only available for a limited time and are now very hard to obtain!! EMI released only 3 Beatles LPs in the mono format when they switched to the 1 EMI box Parlophone label which were Help, Please Please Me & this one Sgt Pepper, and all 3 are now very hard to find indeed! The record is VERY strictly graded in lovely shiny EX- condition, there are some light hairline marks and scuffs on both sides and a couple of small round accumulated dust residue marks on Side 1 but despite this it is obvious that this LP has hardly been played at all and there is even some excess vinyl residue still in the centre hole!!! This is a great copy which plays through superbly well as usual with these thick vinyl original UK pressings and sounds GREAT with absolutely no jumps, sticks, warps, dishing etc!! The gatefold laminated cover with inside flaps is also very strictly graded in EX condition with just minor wear and creasing, a little spine wear and a little bit of laminate lift in the centre gatefold, however apart from these minor blemishes it looks nearly new and is an absolute beauty, still glossy and fresh with that newly pressed look!!!!! Comes with cut outs insert in stunning MINT condition!!! This edition comes with the original plain white ‘Patent No’ inner sleeve also in brilliant condition!! The labels are superb with no tears, marks or writing with just light traces of spindle wear on Side 2. A truly great copy of one of the most scarce original Beatles LPs, a great BEATLE MEGA-RARITY!!!!!!!

Records will be packed in very secure brand new professional record mailers with cardboard stiffeners and with the LP in a PVC sleeve and with the inner sleeve and record separate from the cover to avoid splits etc - I do not make a profit on postage at all and delivery quickly and pack very securely for maximum safety.
