After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare stereo '3rd press' copy of the Beatles LP 'A Hard Days Night' on the yellow / black label!
The 1st Press has rounded, chubby typeset and Parlophone rimtext. The 2nd press has thinner sans serif typeset and Parlophone rimtext. This 3rd pressing has Gramophone rimtext and the rare Times New Roman font, a typeset that was only used by EMI around the 1965-1966 period (which is why it's mostly seen on Help, Rubber Soul and Revolver). To find it on any other pressing is very hard since those earlier albums were no longer being bought by fans, especially the even rarer stereo pressing!
Stereo LPs of the Beatles albums before 1967 are harder to find than their mono counterparts because stereo record players cost more than mono players back in the day, and stereo records cost more than mono. Therefore, more mono copies sold than stereo. It wasn't until '67, when these two factors were done away with, that mono instantly became an obsolete format.
Comes in an original 'mid sized stereo' flipback sleeve! These in itself are quite hard to find as, in the mid 60's, the format typeset changed to a small, bold, sans serif style.
Not in top condition, but still very respectible. A great way to fill that gap in your collection!

The cover is looking okay but is definitely showing its age (50 years now!) The front cover is looking slightly tired with laminate creases and a little yellowing and dirt buildup. There's a small tape square residue at the mouth that follows onto the back. The top seam has a little wear but is unsplit. Bottom seam has split in the middle, approx 2". he back has yellowed noticeably, has the tape residue at the mouthedge as mentioned before and has light dirt spots and staning. Some of the letters have also been filled in with a black pen. The overflaps are stuch tight and have a little dirt buildup on them. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : G+

The playing surface has lost a little of its original shine, but is still looking nice. There's quite a lot of light, surface scuffing along with some slightly heavier looking scuffs and some light scratches.

The labels are clean, crisp and clear with bright text. There's some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole as can be seen in the photos above.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
