Description

You are bidding for the acetate/dubplate of the Beta Band album HotShots 2. There are 4 acetates one for each side of the album which was released as a double album. There are 4 sets of these in the world. One band member was given 1 each to take home and play to check the vinyl cut was good enough. It was because no more acetates were made. This album was mastered in NYC by renowned Hip Hop mastering engineer Tony Dawsey at the world famous Masterdisk cutting suite in Manhattan.  This copy has probably been played 2 or 3 times in order to check quality and i watched Tony Dawsey cut this acetate personally. An acetate is not designed to be played more than around 10 times so this is really just a very very rare piece of history. As there are 4 discs i would prefer to send them in 2 packages as they are a little fragile ( brittle ) so postage will be more than normal NOT the £9.50 E-Bay is suggesting. I reckon more like £20 for UK and £30 for USA. Any questions just message me. All the best
