THE VINYL:   VERY GOOD+

HAS HAIRLINES, A FEW SOFT SCUFFS AND SEVERAL MILD SCRATCHES, BUT THESE DON'T SOUND AND IT PLAYS VERY WELL WITH NO STICKS OR JUMPS, IT DOES HOWEVER HAVE OCCASIONAL VERY SOFT CLICKS AND MANY SOFT CRACKLES MORE PROMINENT IN QUIETER SECTIONS.  NO WRITING ON THE LABELS.  HAS VERY FEW SPINDLE MARKS AND VERY LITTLE SPINDLE WEAR OR LABEL SCRATCHES.

THE COVER:    VERY GOOD

HAS SOME WEAR ON THE SURFACE.  THE FRONT HAS A 1" TEAR ON THE OPENING EDGE.  SOME THUMB CREASES, SOME AGEING ON SLEEVE, IT HAS A PIECE MISSING AT THE FRONT BOTTOM CORNER.  HAS RING WEAR ON THE REAR.  SOME MINOR CORNER WEAR, VERY LITTLE EDGE WEAR / SPINE WEAR AND THE SPINE IS GOOD AND FULLY READABLE.  FLIPBACKS ARE CLEAN, COMPLETE AND SECURE.  SLIGHTLY GRUBBY ON THE REAR.  

NO SPLITS.  NO SELLOTAPE, NO WRITING. (see photos)

THE INNER SLEEVE:   VERY GOOD+

Original shaped plastic inner sleeve is very creased.  No splits.  No sellotape.  No other major stains or writing.

Strictly Graded Using RECORD COLLECTOR Grading System

Grading System:  I have used Record Collector magazine set of standards for the condition of second-hand records. I have added a (+) or (-) to my gradings where applicable.

MINT:   The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or unplayed should be Mint.  (NOTE: As far as I am concerned MINT will never apply to second hand vinyl records).

EXCELLENT:   The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD:   The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD:   The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR:   The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR:   The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD:   The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

I grade all records in accordance with the Rare Record Price Guide (see above). However, if you feel I have graded your record incorrectly please email me ASAP so we can resolve the problem amicably.

Post & Packaging - I recycle all packaging so you will get your goods in recycled packaging. All items over £20 are sent ‘Tracked' and I always obtain 'Proof of Posting' for cheaper items. All items are securely and properly packaged and vinyl is sent using double corrugated cardboard stiffeners or similar.
