STUNNING MEGA RARE ORIGINAL LEGENDARY 1966 UK MONO 606-1 MATRIX FIRST PRESSING OF 'REVOLVER' BY THE BEATLES This auction needs no introduction really!!!!!!!!! You are bidding on the HOLY GRAIL for all Beatles Collectors and fans of 60's music in general. The 1ST EVER PRESSING of Revolver!!!!!!! With the much saught-after side 2 matrix number 606-1. It is so rare because it contains the 'Remix 11' version of Tomorrow Never Knows!!!!!!!! That is no all!!!! This massively rare record comes complete with its original Garrod & Lofthouse laminated flipback sleeve - This legendary version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' was pulled immediately by John Lennon and the record was quickly withdrawn, it has now become INFAMOUS and almost IMPOSSIBLE to find (especially in this condition!!). The very special version of tomorrow never knows contained on this LP has never been made available on any other format!!!! It has the rare 'KT' tax code stamp 1966 and the all important 'Sold in the UK' and 'Gramophone' text in the centre labels. Due to the price this auction will probably reach, I will attempt to describe it as accurately as possible... All Important info: 1st ever press!!! Deleted version of Tomorrow never knows!! Side 1 - XEX 605-2 Side 2 XEX 606-1 (!!!!!!!!!) KT tax code embossed on side 2 centre label Yellow/Black Parlophone Label with 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' and 'Sold in the UK' Label text The Record The vinyl itself is in VG + condition,it is bright and shiny with virtually NO groove wear (this is common on most albums of the era, caused by the big heavy needles of the 60's and 70's),only some superficial signs that doesn't affects the plays. It does not STICK or JUMP when played, only very light background noise specially in the silent space. The centre labels are superb with no tears or marks and some spindle lines. Don't miss this one as you will be very hard pushed to find another copy of this rare LP in such great condition!!!!!! The Sleeve THE MEGA RARE ORIGINAL Garrod & Lofthouse version is in STUNNING NR. MINT condition with NO EDGE WEAR, AND CORNERS SO SHARP YOU COULD CUT YOURSELF ON THEM!!!!! There are NO seam splits, NO rips and NO unwanted writing NO BLEMISHES OF ANY KIND ANYWHERE!!! It is simply STUNNING!!!! The laminate is beautiful, smooth and the sleeve is super stiff with a PERFECT strong spine, with no wear. The cover has the MONO label printed in the top right corner and is complete with the inner dust bag which is also in excellent condition with only a little opening on the bottom spine. This sleeve is simple STUNNING!!!!!! Not much else to say really except don't miss this one as you will be VERY HARD PUSHED TO FIND ANOTHER COPY OF THIS LEGENDARY AND VERY RARE LP IN THIS CONDITION AGAIN. THESE RECORDS ARE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF NOWADAYS, AND IN THIS CONDITION ARE VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!
