Description
THE BEATLES : Meet The Beatles LP (Capitol [USA] T 2047) Mono/1964.
Record is Excellent with minimal wear. There are a few tiny hairlines and superficial sleeve scuffs, but it appears to have been played very little. There are light clicks audible for about ten revolutions, starting in the blank space between A4 ("It Won't Be Long") and A5 ("All I've Got To Do"). The clicks are hardly noticeable at all once "All I've Got To Do" starts. Otherwise it plays great with very quiet noise audible between tracks only. Cover is Near Mint with almost no wear (it looks virtually new -- see photos). With original Capitol inner sleeve, which is also in great shape without the usual splits. Labels have "ASCAP" after every title except "I Want To Hold Your Hand" (BMI), "I Saw Her Standing There" (BMI) & "I Wanna Be Your Man" (BMI). "BEATLES" on front is in brown print. No producer credit on back cover. Small "3" at lower-right corner of the back cover (to the left of the RIAA logo). Matrix numbers: "T1-2047-P25 #2...(IAM in triangle)" / "T2-2047-P9 #3...(IAM in triangle)" As far as we can tell the particular ASCAP/BMI label credits identify this as the third label variation of this LP. The "sans-serif" "1" on the side 1 label, the "IAM" matrix markings, and the "3" on the back cover identify this as pressed by Capitol's East Coast (Scranton) plant.price rating
