1970 BEATLES LET IT BE PARLOPHONE EXPORT - NR MINT. PMCGS 19 Stereo.
This very rare EXPORT copy of The Beatles Let it Be is pressed on the PARLOPHONE LABEL with the code PMCGS 19. Normally issued on the Apple label it is becoming increasingly difficult to find any export issues at all.
In addition to the rare vinyl label this copy also has a very unusual sleeve. The reverse of the sleeve should normally feature the red Apple logo for a first issue, a Green Apple logo for later pressings and a boxed EMI logo for the normal export issues. This copy features none of the above. In fact it is empty! Only featuring the following text 'An E.M.I Recording Printed and made in Great Britain by Garrod and Lofthouse'. I have never seen this variant before (see the picture below).
Vinyl Condition - The vinyl is in near MINT condition with only a few very light surface marks, none of which effect play. There are no jumps or skips at all.
Label Condition - Both labels are in MINT condition with no marks or scratches. There are no spindle marks at all.
Cover condition - The cover is in generally GOOD condition with the exception of a mark in the top right hand corner. This looks to have happened when a price sticker has been detached and has removed a section of the black cover design. It is approx 7cm height x 4.2cm width (this barely effects any of the main cover image).
This album has a very reasonable start price as a very similar Let it Be Export album with NO cover is currently up for sale at a specialist Beatles auction site for £750 (www.tracks.co.uk).
