PLEASE NOTE - THIS AUCTION WILL END LATE SATURDAY 27th MAY - AS THIS WEEK I AM DOING SATURDAY NIGHT (27th) AND SUNDAY NIGHT (28th) AUCTIONS - WITH SOME AMAZING ITEMS ENDING ON BOTH DAYS!!!!! SO PLEASE READ ON ABOUT THIS AMAZING ITEM BELOW - AND GOOD LUCK IF YOU DECIDE TO BID:-
THE RARITY OF THIS EP:- The main rarity with this EP is that it still has its ULTRA RARE 'Jukebox Tab' still attached to the cover! French EPs almost ALL had these, and 99% of them were either removed, or got knocked off by sliding the record in and out of the cover! So it is very VERY rare indeed to find one still 100% COMPLETE like this one is!!!!

FORMAT:- EXTENDED PLAY (4 TRACKS)
PRESSING:- I WILL NOT PRETEND I KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT FRENCH EPs (BECAUSE I GENIUNELY DON'T!) - BUT I PRESUME IT IS A 1ST PRESSING? CERTAINLY MADE IN EITHER 1965 OR 1966 - AS THE PERSON WHO PREVIOUSLY OWNED THIS EP CAME BACK TO THE UK IN LATE 1966 TO LIVE PERMANENTLY. SO I AM 99% CERTAIN THIS IS A 1ST PRESSING. If it helps at all this EP has:- 'Chappell' music credit on 1 side only, 'Longue Duree' credited on both labels, Beatles Club / 'Dillard' manufacturer & Photo credit on bottom flipback, the cover is FULLY Laminated and flipbacked, and the matrix numbers are:- 'CBS SOE 3769 PEP 5686 380' & 'CBS SOE 3769 PEP 5687 380'. Other run off groove details include:- '1 A'.

SIGNS OF PLAY:- CAN'T TELL - FRENCH EPs DID NOT HAVE A CENTRE.

RECORD GRADING:- The record is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition! Even under light the record looks BRILLIANT and JET BLACK! It has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The record also plays VERY well indeed - with NO skips, NO jumps, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO groovewear, NO distortion, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL! The record must grade VG++++ if not better. A very VERY nice record indeed and VERY strictly graded!
INNER:- Beatles French EPs never came with an inner sleeve.
