'Ello!, guvnah!
Good morning, good morning!
You are bidding on a FAB collection of Beatle albums (yes it is!) that this boy is offering up for auction, from me to you! And, I want to tell you, you won't be disappointed with scratches, fingerprints, stains, warping, or smudges like you'd find on some old brown shoe. That's nowhere man!!
You won't have to think; "PLEASE, please me!".....I will!! ...or..."Honey, don't","Don't let me down!", "You can't do that!!" I won't!!
These albums were taken out once....when I ordered them in the 80's.... and once... today, when I laid them out for the pics.
They're MINT!
You'll twist and shout with delight! You'll shout; "Oh! Darlin'" You'll say, "Thank you, Girl!" ('cept, I'm a guy). You'll roll over Beethoven! (just do it softly, because the old guy just finished a fifth. Don't ask me why).
The box itself is in great condition for 20 years. There is a slight concaveness to the left lower front of the box, but it opens, closes, and stays shut and doesn't look misshapen. It's really in fine condition. The inner layer of glued paper that hinges the box to the flap is loose, and stands straight up instead of bending with the flap but it could be easily pasted. It doesn't hinder the box's aesthetics, or functionality. Everything works great. That's the word! Dig it!
As you can see from the pics, it doesn't have one of those fancy shmancy numbers on the box, but just try and buy 13 MINT Beatles albums for the price of this box set, and you'll cry, "Hey, Jude!!, HELP!"
The Rubber Soul album has a bubbly label. It's a manufacturer's thing. I found the same thing on another Beatles album I bought, back in the day, and it turned out to be a double-pasted label! I didn't try to lift off this one, so, if there is, it's something free for no charge!! Woohoo!! I mean, Yeah, yeah, yeah!!
