Description

Featured here is a beautiful 'East cost' example of the Beatles 'Strawberry Fields Forever'/'Penny Lane' picture sleeve.  The colors pop on what many consider to be their most visually stunning sleeve.  The photo's included here simply do not adequately display the beauty and condition of this piece.
Capitol 5810 was released in February, 1967 prior to Sgt. Pepper.  Many critics, and the Beatles producer, George Martin, consider this to be the greatest pop single ever released.
This sleeve was acquired by me in the spring of 1967 at Lucky's record store in Bay City, MI.  It has been in my collection ever since.  If you are a discerning Beatles collector, this would fit nicely!
Graded MINT-.  Please note that I struggled grading this a Mint- and not Mint.  However, there is a very slight fold and/or 'bump' in the lower left portion of the sleeve.  So slight in fact, that it was not visible in the photo's I took.  I am mentioning this because maintaining the integrity of my fellow Beatles collectors is imperative.
