On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Beatles For Sale" and is an ORIGINAL 1964 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE PARLOPHONE LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, AND WAS QUICKLY WITHDRAWN!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP - AND IS A 100% GENUINE BRAND NEW BEATLES DISCOVERY!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN IN DETAIL BELOW:-

THERE ARE OFTEN MANY 'TALL STORIES' TOLD ABOUT BEATLES LPs ONLINE AND ELSEWHERE.  BUT THIS IS ONE STORY THAT IS ABSOLUTELY GENIUNE.  OF COURSE, EVEN IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THE STORY - THE INFORMATION (AND PICTURES!) ABOUT THIS LP IS INDISPUTABLE, PROVABLE - AND AN ABSOLUTE FACT!!!!  FOR MANY YEARS NOW, I HAVE NOTICED THAT THE REVERSE OF THE COVER 'BEATLES FOR SALE' IS NOT A TRUE PICTURE OF THE BEATLES.  AND LAST WEEK AT A RECORD CALL - I MANAGED TO OBTAIN BOTH 'TYPE 1' AND 'TYPE 2' WITHDRAWN COVERS PROVING THIS FACT, BEYOND DOUBT.  I WAS EVEN MORE SHOCKED TO LEARN THAT THE COVERS ARE ACTUALLY COMPLETELY DIFFERENT - COMPARED TO ALL LATER COVERS (WHICH WERE COMPLETELY RE-DESIGNED!)!!!!  THE PERSON I BOUGHT THESE LPs FROM ACTUALLY WORKED AT EMI IN THE 1960s IN THE DESIGN DEPARTMENT - HE EVEN STILL HAD HIS 'PASS CARD'!!!!  AND HE KEPT 2 COPIES OF 'BEATLES FOR SALE' BECAUSE AT THE TIME, HE KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ABOUT THEM!!!!  AND HE EXPLAINED THIS ALL IN GREAT DETAIL!!!!  FIRSTLY CAME 'TYPE 1' (THIS COVER!):-

'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER (TYPE 1) - THIS WAS IN 'DEEP ORANGE' AND A PICTURE WAS TAKEN OF THE BEATLES, THEN 'CUT OUT' AND SUPER IMPOSED ON A BACKDROP OF LEAVES ON THE COVER BACK.  HOWEVER, IT WAS VERY BADLY DONE - AND AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE (THE TYPE 1 COVER IS ON THE RIGHT IN BOTH COMPARISON PICTURES), THE BEATLES LOOK OBVIOUSLY 'CUT OUT' WITH CLEAR OUTLINES AROUND THE BEATLES HEADS!!!!  MISTAKENLY ALSO A DISTINCT 'BROWN AREA' APPEARS ON THE EXTREME LEFT ON THE COVER BACK - NEXT TO PAUL McCARTNEY.  AND THE BEATLES FACES ON THE COVER FRONT WERE BRIGHT ORANGE!!!!  AND THIS IS THE LP I AM SELLING HERE - WITH THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'WITHDRAWN' TYPE 1 COVER!!!!  NEXT CAME:-

'ATTEMPTED CORRECTION' 1ST PRESS COVER (TYPE 2) - EMI KNEW A COMPLETE RE-DESIGN WOULD BE VERY COSTLY AND EXPENSIVE.  THEREFORE THEY ASKED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' TO ATTEMPT TO CHANGE THE COVER.  HOWEVER, 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' ONLY HAD THE ORIGINAL DESIGN GIVEN TO THEM BY EMI.  AND SO ALL THEY COULD DO WAS TO ATTEMPT TO CHANGE THE COLOUR.  HOWEVER, THIS WORKED OUT EVEN WORSE THAN THE 'TYPE 1' COVERS!!!!  IN THE COMPARISION PICTURE OF THREE COVERS - THE TYPE 2 COVER IS IN THE MIDDLE.  AND THE BROWN AREA COULD NOT BE REMOVED (AND CHANGED TO AN ODD 'GREEN' COLOUR INSTEAD - AND ALTHOUGH THE BEATLES 'ORANGE FACES' HAD BEEN CORRECTED IN THE COVER FRONT, THE COVER BACK STILL LOOKED TERRIBLE - WITH THE BEATLES LOOKING FAR TOO DARK, AND EVEN MORE 'CUT-OUT' AND OBVIOUSLY SUPER IMPOSED THAN EVER!!!!  AND SO:-

'FINAL CORRECTION' 1ST PRESS (TYPE 3) - EMI EVENTUALLY FACED THE FACTS THAT A COMPLETE 'RE-DESIGN' WAS NECESSARY AT THE FACTORY, AND NOT AT THE PRINTERS!!!!  AND SO THEY 'AIRBRUSHED' AROUND THE BORDERS OF 'THE BEATLES' AND 'BLACKED IN' THE 'BROWN AREA' NEXT TO PAUL CARTNEY ON THE COVER BACK (IT COMPLETELY DISAPPEARS!)!!!!  THEY ALSO MADE THE PICTURE LESS CLEAR AND MORE GRAINY (BLURRING THE BEATLES FACES SLIGHTLY), AND MADE IT DARKER AND A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT COLOUR!!!!  THIS IS ALL CLEARLY OBVIOUS IN MY COMPARISON PICTURE OF THREE COVERS - WHERE THIS 'FINAL VERSION' APPEARS ON THE LEFT.  AND ESSENTIALLY - THIS 'FINAL CORRECTION' SHOULD IN REALITY BE A SECOND PRESS COVER, AS IT IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DESIGN COMPARED TO THE ORIGINAL!!!!

BOTH 'TYPE 1' AND 'TYPE 2' COVERS ARE BOTH EXTREMELY RARE - AND ARE INDEED THE ONLY 'TRUE' 1ST PRESS COVERS, AS THEY EXISTED BEFORE THE COMPLETE RE-DESIGN' AND AIRBRUSHING THAT HAPPENED ON ALL 'FINAL CORRECTION' COVERS WHICH WERE USED FOREVER MORE!!!!  BUT 'TYPE 1' & 'TYPE 2' COVERS ONLY EVER EXISTED FOR A FEW WEEKS IN 1964 ONLY - AND ARE NOW ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1964 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS YELLOW & BLACK PARLOPHONE LABEL, 1ST PRESS 'SOLD IN THE UK' LABEL TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'KT' LABEL TAX CODINGS, 1ST PRESS 'PARLOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'FIRST PUBLISHED' LABEL TEXT, 1ST PRESS 'EMITEX' INNER SLEEVE, AND AN ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' GATEFOLD FLIPBACK LAMINATED MONO 'TYPE 1' WITHDRAWN COVER (WITH 'OUTLINE' STEREO ON THE COVER FRONT!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Parlophone UK 1st Pressing from 1964 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!!  The Cat. No is PMC 1240 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Yellow & Black Parlophone label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!! 

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Emitex' inner sleeve which is in AWESOME condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 'Earliest' 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Gatefold Flipback Laminated MONO 'Type 1' WITHDRAWN Cover is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO holes and NO splits to the spinal corners (most do!), NO encroaching wear AT ALL to the spinal corners (this area is still 100% straight when the cover is opened out!), NO rips, NO tears, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), VERY shiny laminate, NO splits, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to a couple of the corner tips, NO yellowing, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, SUPERB flipbacks, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY WITH THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' WITHDRAWN 'TYPE 1' COVER!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

Please note the matrixes are IRRELEVANT on this LP.  Like, for example on the 'Rollng Stones' first LP - the 'Mona' cover NEVER ended up with the earliest '2.52' records!!!!  And this was obviously because the 'earliest' covers are at the VERY bottom of the pile, and never ended up with the earliest records.  But in any case - on this VERY large selling LP, it is VERY well known that 3N/3N, 3N/4N, AND 4N/4N matrixes were all made at EXACTLY the same time (this one is 3n/4n)!!!!  Most importantly - on the cover, the brown area, orange faces, and 'cut out edges' of the Beatles can ONLY be REMOVED - not added!  Proving beyond ALL doubt that this is the EARLIEST POSSIBLE cover EVER made and WITHDRAWN and re-designed on all later copies!!!!
