Description
For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP by THE BEATLES, titled:
"BEATLES FOR SALE"
first 1964 pressing on Parlophone Records PMC 1240, MONO, gatefold cover, made in U.K. Original plastic and paper inner sleeve. Laminated cover both sides. Flipback design second inner cover. Second owner, album bought from the original owner about twenty years ago.
Yellow and black Parlophone label.
Identification information as follows:
- "SOLD IN U.K. SUBJECT TO RESALE PRICE CONDITIONS, SEE PRICE LISTS" - printed above the spindle mark
- "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1964" - printed on left of the spindle mark
- "PMC 1240" - printed on right of the spindle mark
- "THE PARLOPHONE CO. LTD..." - worded around the rim of label
Matrix numbers in the runout wax: XEX 503-3N (on side one) and XEX 504-3N (on side two)
Stamper numbers in the runout wax: MG (on side one) and MG (on side two)
CONDITION:
- front cover is between Exc. to NM (having: some light contact wear over the laminated folio; bottom left corner a little touched - pushed inside; a few short minor creases by spine)
- back cover is between Exc. to NM (having: some light contact wear over the laminated folio; upper left corner a little touched - pushed inside)
- vinyl is between close to NM side one (possibly NM) and between Exc. to NM side two (having a few light superficial surface marks and sleeve marks). None of the surface marks are deep or feelable by finger.
Record was cleaned and tested, playing MINT.
The copy in the finest overall shape I've ever seen. A collector's item, highly recommended!
