THE BEATLES :- A Hard Days Night - 1969 / 70 UK silver / black label PCS 3058 Stereo LP , with correct sepia coloured EMI Liner Sleeve

Great condition copy : One EMI Box Logo Labels , with - 1 / -1  matrixes

This copy is an early 'Factory Sample' , used in production as a 'sample' and tested for quality of sound and manufacture ... Not many of these show up - a great Collectors Item

Mother Number Side One : '3 over 4' /  Side Two : '2'

Stamper Digit Side One : 'P O'  / Side Two : 'M P'

The disc has light use .... no marks or wear , just a few faint traces evident beneath a light......... Bright , clean labels , light spindle sheen....... Plays through really well : EXCELLENT+ condition.

The Garrod & Lofthouse  sleeve has  light use   .... The front laminate is  bright and clean , a couple of small , light wrinkles only .... No edge wear , great spine ...... The rear panel is  bright and clean .... no flip wear (EMI sticker attached) : EXCELLENT condition.

A HARD DAY'S NIGHT was the first Beatles album of all-original material, and the first to feature George Harrison playing his Rickenbacker electric 12-string guitar (on the opening chord of "A Hard Day's Night," for instance). The distinctive sound of the 12-string inspired countless guitarists including Roger McGuinn and David Crosby of the Byrds.The film from which these songs hail remains a classic combination of happy 1960s naivete and nascent hipster wit. Many of the most important rock bands to emerge in the latter half of the '60s came into being because of A HARD DAY'S NIGHT's irresistible vibrancy. The tunes flow like the finest red wine, as the title track leads to the glorious harmonica of "I Should Have Known Better" and the powerfully poignant "If I Fell."

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly
