(no catalogue number) in France, 1976. ****** 3xRec:m- / Box:ex ****** One of the true Musique Concrète Holy Grails, alongside Jacques Lejeune's "Fantasmes Ou L'Histoire De Blanche-Neige" and the Jean Schwarz / Jacques Lejeune / Phillip Beetz "Des Musiques Des Sons" set, is this privately issued 3LP boxed set from the husband & wife team of Françoise Barrière & Christian Clozier, consisting of one extended piece by each; Barrière's "Ritratto di Giovane" and Clozier's "Symphonie Pour Un Enfant Seul”. The insert is signed by Francoise Barriere and dedicated to Renaud Ganeux who performs in her piece. Our past gives each sound an emotional and psychological significance… " Françoise Barrière is a composer of electroacoustic music. She has been a driving force in the development and administration of the international electronic music institute, competition, and festival of the Groupe de Musique Experimentale de Bourges (GMEB). She is also an editor and writer, responsible for the annual volume of works of the International Academy of Electroacoustic Music (Bourges). She also manages Mnemosyne Musique Media, publisher of the Cultures Electroniques and Chrysopee Electronique CD collections. Her music is widely heard in festivals, concerts and radio.She lives and works in Bourges, France. Christian Clozier (Compiègne, France, 25 Aug 1945) is a French composer who studied at the Groupe de recherches musicales (GRM). Then he joined with Alain Savouret to found Electro-acoustic Improv. Ensemble Opus N. In 1970 he and Françoise Barrière created the Groupe de musique expérimentale de Bourges (GMEB) which became in 1994 the Institut international de musique électroacoustique de Bourges (IMEB). In 1971, They founded the Bourges yearly festival of electro-acoustic music named Synthèse. Clozier defined the experimental musical teaching technique and conceived the electroacoustic instrument known as Gmebogosse (for children) as well as the Cybernéphone (previously named Gmebaphone), original sound spatialization and broadcasting tools, plus new instruments for electroacoustic interpretation like the " Gmebaphone " and " Antonymes ", which were created especially for the reproduction of electroacoustic music, realized by Jean-Claude le Duc.  ****** Signed and dedicated by Francoise Barriere on the original insert. ****** Liner notes in French. ****** Box with minimal wear (see photo). ****** Records look unplayed! ****** Please wait to receive my invoice before sending the payment after the auction ends.
