Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. THE VINYL   EX

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized 1st UK pressing on the mercury label -these UK copies are extremely rare!

This first pressing is a super vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is some light dulling in a few places and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings.

The centre hole shows a couple of tiny light spindle skate lines only, the holes remain tight with no wear.

A few light marks on the vinyl and the LP had some light dirt on it.. It had been stored away for 4o years!!

So...we feel a professional cleaner can bring this back to serious play condition..as it stands there were some light crackle in the grooves, and one little skip on the first track..

Under a very bright light you can see the light whisp lines and a couple of light marks - We played the whole album through and it was super. Despite these crackle issues. So not Mint at all, but for a rare LP and the potential to clean this up- it could be a cracker!

THE SLEEVE     EX+ 

Correct LAMINATED  first issued ROBERT STACE earliest sleeve. Later presses were unlaminated.

This whole sleeve is in SUPER condition with very little signs of wear 

The edges are all super clean with only the feintest traces of rub, and the tips also have the tiniest rub, all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition

The lamination is gleaming like a mirror and there is no bubbling  down the edge -Just SOME little spider lines over the edges and some along the spine edge. There is some light ring press, and one little dent on the back sleeve.

The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition with barely a hint of handling -just some tiny feather at the bottom.

The spine edge is totally unmarked and all legends are perfectly readable, just a couple of tiny spider lines over the edge , it leans slightly but has no squash of any note.

The lamination really is in stunning shape-
