Up for auction is an original Disco Soul Funk 12" "Get On Up And Dance (The Continental)/Love Epidemic" by The Earls on Woodbury Records #D 1000. Vinyl is near mint with great shine and jacket is near mint in the original shrink. A beautiful copy of this hard to find dance classic. Low starting bid and no reserve! Please see my other auctions for more rare vinyl.
The Earls were a rather funky soul and disco group who made a brief impact in the mid 1970's. "Get on up and dance", also called "The Continental", is a very funky, danceable disco track with a strong, earthy bass line. The b-side, "Love epidemic", is a cover of the Trammps track - written by Norman Harris, and sounding a lot more Philly.
